Chartered Organization
Every Cub Scout pack must have a chartering organization. For Pack 117 this is Zion Lutheran Church. Zion Lutheran Church has been a most generous sponsor, and provides tremendous support. We show our appreciation through showing respect for the building, performing service projects, and putting on an excellent Scouting Program.
Pack 117 is run by the Pack Committee, which:
- Selects leadership
- Finds meeting places
- Performs record keeping
- Manages pack finances
- Orders awards
- Maintains pack equipment
- Helps train leaders
- Recognizes leaders
All of the leaders in the pack get together monthly to finalize details of each monthly program.
