The Pack will be racing the Pinewood Derby Cars at 7:00pm Friday January 27th. Troop 17 will provide a snackbar of hot dogs, chips, and soda during the race. Finger dessert donations are appreciated. |

This is Pack 117's 25th year. Please join us at Sandy's house at 7:00PM to help plan the dinner and events for this special anniversary event.
Following the Blue and Gold Committee meeting will be the Pack's monthly Leader Meeting. All parents are welcome to join and help plan Pack events. Greater participation by the leaders and parents strengthens the Pack.
If you wish to participate, please contact your son's Den Leader or Sandy who can provide directions. |

"25 Years of Memories"
Pack 117 has enjoyed participating in the Santa parade each year for over 10 years. We are to meet at Lot E, Clinton Avenue, which is directly behind the new courthouse. Park your personal car in the parking garage (free for the day) and walk over.. Clothing: Dress for the weather - top layer a white, green, or red sweatshirt and matching hat (or "Santa" hat) Some dens are dressing their boys up as "gifts". If you can help decorate the sled, please be there by 12:15 (volunteers: McAllister, Andrade, Davis, Sanchez, Winston, Maloney, Castelo & Howe families) Looking for a "skinny" tree about 4-5ft tall. Since the parade and Pack 117 are both celebrating their 25th anniversary, we are decorating the sled in silver as much as possible. |

UNIFORM INSPECTION - This is the first time the boys are required to be in their Scout uniform.
Membership costs for 2011 are $19 for Cubs and leaders; $12 for Boy's Life Magazine. Anyone new to Pack 117 this year will have to pay your own 2012 registration fees which are due at the November 16th Pack meeting.
THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS - Pack 117 donates 2 turkeys with all the fixings to the Christ the King food pantry. Your Den Leader will coordinate your fresh food donations.
DONATIONS FOR OUR MILITARY - Bring all of your donations to the Church at our Pack Meeting on Nov.16th. |
